Ctrip launches global play platform

Yesterday, Ctrip officially launched the 'Fun and Local' global play platform in Beijing, along with industry partners, including BeMyGuest. In addition to the company's transport and accommodation offerings, Ctrip's Things To Do platform offers travellers an enormous selection of attractions, tours and activities in destinations all around the world.

Products include day trips, chartered tours, shows, cruises, sporting events, rock climbing, sky diving a many more through over 7,000 stores on the Ctrip app. Some of the company's most popular destinations for Chinese travellers include Japan, South Korea, Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, with reportedly many niche destinations becoming increasing popular.

According to Tourism Business Monitor in China, Ctrip's Global play platform was activated at the beginning of 2018, sourcing rich, multilingual products from their partners including BeMyGuest, Hong Kong Disney Resort, Singapore Resorts World Sentosa, hotelbeds group, Hunan Lazy Cat International Travel Service Co., Ltd., Beijing Baicheng International Travel Co., Ltd., Xiamen Asia Pacific Tourism Development Center.
