BeMyGuest raises new funds, commits to bolstering its tech lead

Singapore, 24 June 2019 – Riding on the tailwinds of growth in the tours & activities sector, leading technology and distribution specialist, BeMyGuest, announces a new round of funding to drive continued development in its home market of Asia.
 
The Series B funding comes largely from internal stakeholders, demonstrating their commitment and faith in the Singapore-based company, which has built a strong reputation for its tech initiatives, including the most robust API platform in the attraction and tours & activities vertical, supporting more than 50 integrations with the largest OTAs (online travel agencies) in the region.
 
The company also recently launched a SaaS platform to empower more with the ability to sell through those API-integrated partners.
 
Blanca Menchaca, CEO & co-founder of BeMyGuest, said, “The new funding will take the company through its next phase of growth, including the launch of a number of progressive technological initiatives.”

She said this unique approach was needed in Asia where tech adoption is low among a large proportion of operators. “We want to empower more operators with tech so that the entire market grows and everyone wins.”
 
Menchaca said BeMyGuest has seen a doubling of its revenues for the fourth year running and is expected to maintain the rapid pace of growth this year.
 
“Without our innovative API, scaling connectivity, and the acceptance and positive feedback from many of the region’s top online travel groups, we would not be growing at the pace we are,” said Menchaca.
 
“We’ve established a unique and agnostic B2B position in Asia, developing seamless connectivity between attractions, tours and activities, and some of the region’s most dynamic and influential distributors who play a key role in the industry’s future.”
 
She observed that its pole B2B position in a sector that’s been attracting the attention of investors recently would stand it in good stead as customers migrate from offline to online, and more attractions and tours & activities players follow the tide of inevitable change. “We want to be part of that change.”
