There’s nothing better than topping off a great day of exploring a new destination than taking in the evening air and starlight at a great nightclub or chic lounge bar. We’ve dug up some of the best Asian views to accompany your cocktails.

 

Singapore

Marina Bay Sands is an icon of the city skyline in Singapore. The view from the top is worth a cocktail or two; there’s no better views of the Lion City, unless you’re on a plane, than from the very trendy and chic Ce La Vie.

 

Jakarta

Indonesia’s bustling capital is famous for its traffic, but also has a rather lively and vibrant nightclub scene.

Everyone’s talking about the Cloud Lounge right now, in the city centre, high above the traffic and noise of the streets below from the 49th floor of the Plaza Tower.

 

Hong Kong

Hong Kong’s Ritz Carlton Hotel is not only one of the finest hotels in the world, it’s also the tallest. On the 118th floor, which you can reach by elevator, not helicopter, is the sumptuous Ozone Bar.

Snack on Asian-styled tapas menus and some incredibly creative and tasty cocktails, and just try and take your eyes of the view. There’s many scenic and wonderful ways to take in the Hong Kong cityscape, but none quite as lush as this.

 

Shanghai

As one of the most avant-garde locations in Asia, you can count on Shanghai to deliver a unique nightlife option accompanied by a superb view.

Try the Roof Bar at the Waterhouse Hotel on the South Bund waterfront. Enjoy the Pudong skyline along with craft beer and superb cocktails, in sleek contemporary styled decor.

 

Bali

Not a rooftop to be seen, in fact you’re only view is of the lush tropical rainforest lining the peaks and valleys of the Bali hinterland in Ubud.

The Ubud Hanging Gardens has one of the most photographed infinity swimming pools in Asia, which is your view, with the jungle as the backdrop, as you sip on classical and eclectic cocktails overlooking the Ayung River valley.

 

Phuket

There’s not many bad views to be had in Phuket really, with so many gorgeous beachside options, it’s not difficult to find a great spot to enjoy an evening out.

But if you’re after the spectacular, then check out Babanest at Sri Panwa Resort. With 360 degree views of the Andaman Sea and the Phi Phi Islands in the background, the rooftop bar is a perfect sunset experience as you recline on the oversized cushions on a suspended deck above the rooftop pool.

 

Manila

With a nice touch of Spanish influence, the Sky Deck at the Bayleaf Hotel delivers a sweeping city view, in a comfortable alfresco setting. A talented local Filipino band pumps out tunes to keep you grooving as you the evening settles in.
