Damnern Saduak Floating Market and Gem Factory Tour

Bangkok, Thailand
  • Visit Damnern Saduak Floating Market
  • Ride a long tail motor boat to see the merchants up close
  • Visit a local gems factory
Bangkok is a vibrant capital that is a mixed of historical and modern infrastructures. There are plenty of landmarks to see from temples, floating markets, exciting nightlife to skyscrapers. It used to be a small trading post at the banks of the Chao Phraya River, but King Rama I turned the simple city into the capital of Siam in the olden days.

The capital was transferred to Bangkok from Ayutthaya when the latter was burned by the Burmese invaders. You will be fetched from the hotel and brought to the first destination with an English speaking tour guide.

First, visit the Damnoen Saduak and see the unique floating markets as colourfully clad sellers paddle along the canals with their fresh produce such as fresh fruits, vegetables, and other products are sold on their boats to consumers. Experience haggling with the local sellers and get the best price for anything you want to purchase. For the last itinerary, visit a gems factory where you can buy locally produced jewelry. Whether you want to purchase a beautiful jewelry or simply window shop, the factory is worth a visit because Thailand is known for its well crafted masterpieces.

We had a wonderful experience! The drivers were right on time, prompt, friendly and
courteous! I would definitely use their service again when in Asia. Thank you!

Is a great experience to the floating market the things there are not as cheap as chatuchak but for the hardworking seller we decided to support them and bought a few things. On the way to floating market we stopped at coconut farm where you can see how coconut sugar is made. We bought the coconut sugar it's 100% pure and it smell good we have used it in some of our desert it taste real good.nSo hope to visit more places in our next trip.

Good trip... However the stops were a bit short tho. The guide had a very good English and gave us lots of recommendations for buying stuff at the floating market.... specially for reducing the asking prices

Annie was nice and we can communicate well with her. She was not rushing us in every break. The only time she rushed us was during the stay at the elephant place.nnToo bad we also couldn't depart earlier because of another group joining the group.

We Had an Amazing Tour - Amazing Guide and breathtaking places!nIt was a good mix between the guide explaining and free time.nWhat was also Nice was that one could ask the guide for averagfe prices the market has to not make the Bad experience of being charged too much
