  • Watch the fire eating show of Thumbuakar warriors
  • Be amazed at the Watch the Creatures of the Night animal show
The award-winning park, the Night Safari in Singapore, is the first safari park for nocturnal animals. There are more than 2,500 animals living in their natural environment at night. The guided tram ride and a walking tour inside the park will take you across the several sections like the Himalayan Foothills, Asian Riverine Forest, Indian Subcontinent, Fishing Cat Trail, and Wallaby Trail.

You’ll be picked up from the hotel and brought to the park with a tour guide. Check out the Himalayan tahr, bharals, mouflons, and marhkors living on the rocky terrain and steep slopes. Visit the Asian Riverine Forest as the Malayan tapirs and Asian elephants roam freely. Keep an eye out for Chawang, a famous bull elephant at the night safari. Also see the Indian Subcontinent, a diverse landscape with barasingha deer, striped hyenas, and sloth bears. There are also Gir lions roaming through the night wherein only 300 exist these days.

At the Fishing Cat Trail, trek through the similar atmosphere of the forests in Singapore as you see the fishing cat exhibit with the river, fallen logs, and the dense vegetation. See the fishing cat hunt for fish by edge of the river and plunges into the water to grab its prey with its paws. Visit the Wallaby Trail where you’ll feel as if you’re at the Australian outback. See the free-ranging Wallaby as it walls around its natural habitat and check out the Naracoorte Cave where scorpions and venomous centipedes reside.

Prepare to be amazed as you watch the staff hold fire eating performances as a group of Thumbuakar warriors shows their amazing rhythm and skills. You can volunteer to experience it on stage with one of the warriors. Watch the Creatures of the Night show, a 20-minute animal show where otters, binturongs, civets, hyena, and African serval perform different talents. After the tour, you’ll be brought back to the hotel.

The tour should pick people up 15 to 30 minutes earlier as we missed the first creature of the night show and had to wait for the tram ride. It was a rush to fit things in and we only managed to complete 1 of the 4 walking tours and didn't get to see one of the shows. The guide wasn't very organised and overall it was a bit disappointing
