Tokyo, Japan
  • Visit the Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park, where you will see Mount Fuji and Hakone
  • Climb the Five Stations of Mount Fuji and see the picturesque view from the summit
  • Cruise along the pristine lake of Ashinoko with Mount Fuji as the background
  • Ride the Komagatake Ropeway and see the majestic view of the surroundings
  • An English-speaking guide is included on this tour
  • Transfer services and admission fees are also included
Take a break from the usual city tour and head over to the Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park. You will see Mount Fujisan and Hakone. At the centre of the national park sits Mount Fuji, surrounded by a beautiful landscape of surrounding volcanoes, the coastline, the islands, and the ocean. The area is known for its mild climate and hot springs. You will be picked up from the hotel and brought to the national park.

Visit the Fuji Visitor Centre and see the museum exhibit, where you will watch a movie about Mount Fuji. Afterwards, explore the Fuji Five Lakes of Lake Kawaguchiko, Lake Yamanakako, Lake Saiko, Lake Shojiko, and Lake Motosuko at the base of Mount Fuji. Next stop is at Mount Fuji's fifth station, which is over 2,400 metres above the ground, where you can see the majestic beauty from above. It is divided into 10 stations, but the paved roads are only until the fifth station, halfway up the mountain. The Fuji Subaru Line (Yamanashi Prefecture) is between a five-to-seven-hour climb and is the most popular base for climbers because of its accessibility. The Subashiri (Shizuoka Prefecture) is about a five-to-eight-hour ascent. Higher up the mountain is Gotemba (Shizuoka Prefecture), which takes about seven to 10hours to climb. Though it is the lowest 5th Station, the climb to the summit takes longer compared to the other stations. Next is the Fujinomiya (Shizuoka Prefecture), which is a four-to-seven-hour climb. You can take a rest in between climbs, as half a dozen mountain huts are along the trail.

After climbing Mount Fuji, have a cruise at the pristine Lake of Ashinoko, formed below Mount Hakone when the volcano erupted 3,000 years ago. Witness the majestic view of the lake with Mount Fuji as the background. It is best seen during the colder months rather than visiting during the summer, and early morning rather than afternoon. Lastly, ride the Komagatake Ropeway and see an awesome view of the surrounding Hakone National Park (also known for hot springs). After the one-day tour, you will be brought back to the hotel.

Nice trip. Was there during a good weather. Manage to see the snow from the previous day but still see Full Mt Fuji. But the wifi cannot work for me on the bus.
